Glee

The show that helped a cappella singing burst onto the scene in the UK. Whether you loved it or hated it, you couldn’t escape it when it launched on E4 in the UK, and we all have one song where we think ‘the Glee version’ is better.

The Naked Choir (also The Choir, and The Choir: Gareth’s Best in Britain)

Sing: Ultimate A Cappella

Although short-lived, Sing: Ultimate A Cappella was an absolute blast, and an amazing chance for our home-grown UK groups to show off their talent. Hosted by Cat Deeley, this show had the Sons of Pitches as its house band - what a combination!

Pitch Battle

With a cappella TV shows reaching a peak, the BBC also staked a claim in this successful trend, and hosted a competition for UK-based a cappella groups. This show featured some UK a cappella champions judged by vocal legends like Will Young, Seal, Joe & Nick Jonas, and Jermaine Jackson.
