It's about time we recognised our community

The UK A Cappella Awards aim to recognise and celebrate people who are making strides for a cappella in the UK. The awards will be judged by a panel of experts, and winners announced at a dinner on 21 November 2026.

We encourage you to nominate any groups or individuals in the community who you believe are excellent ambassadors for A Cappella. You can nominate as many people as you like in each category, either as individuals or as groups.

Each award has its own form, which will give more details of the judging criteria. We look forward to reading your nominations and hearing about the wonderful work being done in our community.

Emerging Leader Award

Goes to an individual in a leadership position who has shown great promise, and inspired those they work with.

Behind the Scenes Impact

Goes to those who keep things running behind the scenes, Secretaries, Treasurers, Producers, Group Managers and more

Educator of the Year

Goes to a workshop leader or educator who has helped groups or individuals to develop their skills and confidence

A Cappella Outreach Award

Goes to a new initiative that helps to spread the word about a cappella to those who might not know about it, or that brings together those who already do a cappella

A Cappella Resource Award

Goes to a resource, whether that’s a written guide, a website, a video, a podcast series, or something else, that has helped people to develop their a cappella skills

Inclusivity and Belonging Award

Goes to an individual, group or organisation that has shown exemplary practise in making a cappella accessible for all

Outstanding Contribution to

A Cappella

Goes to an individual or organisation that has developed a cappella, spread the word, and connected singers across the UK
